One of the wonders of our country is its vast displays of archaeological sites, thanks to its value, enthrall visitors by allowing them back in time and take a singular experience. The most interesting of these findings is that the list is growing every day.
The Ministry of Culture presented the North-South Road Corridor in the sanctuary of Pachacamac, an important ceremonial center and a major pilgrimage Tahuantinsuyo points. This corridor of 1,250 meters is characterized by its access to what was known 500 years ago as the Painted Temple.
Katiuhska Bernuy, head of research of the sanctuary, explains that visitors can find everything from complex canals that supplied water to the entire sanctuary to canine remains in perfect preservation.
The path allows us to understand a little more how our ancestors lived in Pachacamac, their old ways, as the North-South Road was a point of passage for those who wanted to participate in rituals and feasts made in squares. “This circuit is unique, only enter groups of 15 and accompanied by a guide,” said Denise Pozzi-Escot, Museum Director of Pachacamac site.

The entrance fee is S/.15 soles
