Additionally, the Commission for the Promotion of Peru Export and Tourism (PromPerú) received the award for best South America tourist office. The Deputy Minister of Tourism Claudia Cornejo, gave her thanks for having received such a distinction and considered an honor to represent the tourism sector that works quietly in the development of the country. As indicated, there is confidence in achieving that tourism will continue to consolidate as the second national currency generator, in view of the efforts on behalf of all those who continuously contribute in making this come true.
